Tracey Bishop
Tracey is a passionate and proud nurse with a deep commitment to community healthcare. With clinical and managerial experience spanning both tertiary and primary care, Tracey has dedicated her career to improving client outcomes and fostering a supportive environment for staff. Holding a Master of Nursing: Nurse Practitioner qualification, focused on community and primary healthcare, she continually seeks opportunities to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.
One of her proudest achievements was leading a Gold Coast initiative aimed at safe hospital avoidance. By developing a strategic client risk analysis and strengthening the accessibility of information and services between the hospital and general practices, this initiative enabled a coordinated and individualised approach to client care. It allowed clients to remain at home while receiving the necessary care when safe to do so, highlighting her commitment to client-centred care.
Tracey strongly believes that future success depends on continuously reviewing and improving current practices. She is deeply invested in staff wellbeing and mentoring the next generation of nurses and nursing leaders, ensuring they achieve their career goals while making a positive impact on their clients' lives.
Newly appointed to Aster Home Care in August 2024, Tracey is excited to continue her journey as Nursing General Manager, where her client-focused approach and passion for keeping people healthy in their communities align perfectly with Aster’s mission to deliver compassionate, individualised, high-quality care.
