With extensive experience across public, private, and not-for-profit healthcare sectors, Sarah has found her true passion in community care. As Nursing Branch Manager for Aster’s Northern Region, she oversees day-to-day clinical operations and manages the organisation’s My Aged Care Portfolio. Over the past year, Sarah has enjoyed leading key operations for the organisation, driven by her genuine passion for caring for people and engaging closely with key stakeholders to deliver person-centred care.

Sarah is deeply committed to supporting clients to remain in their own homes, maintaining their independence and quality of life. She is dedicated to upholding high standards of care, optimising workflows, and mentoring nursing teams to foster professional development. Her leadership was pivotal during the Lismore floods, where she successfully coordinated the Crisis Management Team to support vulnerable community members. Known for her compassionate, innovative, and collaborative approach, Sarah continually drives positive change to enhance client experiences and promote community wellbeing.

With a strong background in acute care and emergency nursing Maddie is a highly skilled community registered nurse dedicated to delivering comprehensive, in-home healthcare services. As a trusted clinical leader Maddie provides clinical guidance and leadership to registered nurses (RNs), enrolled nurses (ENs) and assistants in nursing (AINs), ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Beyond clinical expertise, Maddie works closely with external stakeholders to identify new clients and coordinate seamless, in-home care solutions. Whether managing complex health conditions or providing routine care, Maddie is committed to enhancing the well-being of individuals and their families in the community.

Having been an RN for 27 years Rose has various experience in emergency, primary care, leadership, and coordination of complex patients in metropolitan cities, regional areas, Rural and Remote areas across Australia.

Rose now is a highly skilled community registered nurse dedicated to delivering comprehensive, in-home healthcare services. Rose has just moved into the Nurse Branch Manager role with her experience she will provide clinical guidance and leadership to registered nurses (RNs), enrolled nurses (ENs) and assistants in nursing (AINs), ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Greer Kronast

As Executive Assistant to our Nursing General Manager and as the Marketing Manager, Greer combines her background in HR and marketing to support both the strategic and day-to-day needs of our team. She takes great pride in ensuring our office runs smoothly, enabling our nurses to focus on what they do best - providing exceptional care to people in the community.

In her marketing role, she is driven by a genuine passion for sharing the incredible stories behind our work. She loves shining a light on the dedication, compassion, and skill that our team brings to every interaction, making sure everyone can see the heart and purpose that drives us.

As an EA, Greer thrives on supporting the Nursing General Manager, helping to bring ideas to life, and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and fun workplace culture. She believes that when our team feels valued and connected, they can achieve amazing outcomes together - both for our clients and for each other.

Harriet Smith

After spending over eight years in Sydney building her expertise in office management and event coordination, Harriet relocated to the Gold Coast in 2024 in search of new opportunities and lifestyle balance. Shortly after, she joined Aster’s scheduling team, where she applied her strong organisational and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Her talent for streamlining workflows and fostering collaboration soon saw her transition into the People and Culture Coordinator role in April 2025. In this position, Harriet is dedicated to creating efficient processes, supporting staff at all levels, and cultivating a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture that enables both individuals and the organisation to thrive.
