Anzac Day is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders “who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations” and “the contribution and suffering of all those who have served”.
“Anzac Day Biscuit Drop” has become Aster Home Care annual tradition and our amazing team of nurses delivered the best home-made Anzac biscuits to all our partners to thank them for their service.

Aster Home Care is pleased to announce that it has been accepted as a Navy Sponsor of the TSS Foundation Business Breakfast.

As an organisation that serves the community, Aster Home Care places importance on business initiatives that seek to improve the lives of the vulnerable or less fortunate in our society.

The TSS Foundation Business Breakfast raises money to fund the education of First Australian young boys at The Southport School (TSS).

By becoming a Navy sponsor, we are able to promote our community nursing through this business breakfast and raise awareness of our services.

Many TSS old boys have served in the Australian Defence Force and the links to the DVA community are very strong.

If you are interested in being invited as our guest to this business breakfast, please contact us at (07) 5611 5060 and tell us why you would like to be invited.

Since mid-December 2021, when our borders opened to the rest of Australia and restrictions lifted significantly, the number of Covid-19 cases in the Gold Coast & Tweed areas have certainly increased. This is having a significant impact on individuals, families and businesses alike.

We would like to assure you that while, like everyone else, Aster Home Care and its staff have been impacted by this surge, we are well equipped to manage this and keep our services to our partners running safely and smoothly. The wellbeing and safety of our partners is paramount in everything that we do and we have Covid safe policies and procedures in place to ensure that everyone concerned is kept safe and well.

It is always a privilege for us to be welcomed into the home of our partners to care for them. It is crucial to us that we do this safely and with the utmost care, respect, dignity and attentiveness. The current Covid-19 climate has not changed this at all! So, rest assured that we will continue to provide 24/7, in home care for our Veterans and their families.
